IndiGo starts direct Bhopal-Bengaluru flight

BHOPAL: IndiGo has started direct flight connecting Bhopal with Bengaluru from Friday onwards. The first ever, direct Bengaluru-Bhopal flight was full packed with around 180 passengers.
Officials said the flight took off at 3:55 pm from Bengaluru airport to reach destination at 5:40pm and then flew at 6.40pm from Bhopal airport to land at 8 pm in Bengaluru.
Support Bhopal for air connectivity (SBFAC) members met the IndiGo airlines officials.“This is the biggest news for me. I live in Bengaluru and direct flight has made my travelling very smooth now,” said Prachi Baluapuri who had launched SBFAC a year ago.
