Kin of wrestler missing for 24 days knock on Centre's door
Mohan Parmar is mysteriously missing since November 22
BHOPAL: After Madhya Pradesh Protection for Child Rights Commission (MPPCRC) sent a notice to the Jabalpur police regarding the missing wrestler Mohan Parmar, his family sought help from sports minister Rajyavardhan Rathore. They have tweeted and tagged several ministers seeking help. Mohan has been suspiciously 'missing' from the Grenadier Regiment Centre (GCC) in Jabalpur since November 22. Police have registered a kidnapping case after the incident.

Family members said they will use every possible platform to raise the issue. "My son is missing for the past three weeks and no one is doing anything to trace him. I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union sports minister Rajyavardhan Rathore to help me," said Mohan's father Rajendra Parmar with tears rolling down his eyes.
The wrestler's family has been running from pillar to post ever since he went missing. "We have met everyone, but nothing has been done. We urge the new chief minister Kamal Nath to help my family," said Rajendra.
Mohan Parmar had been serving as wrestling boys sports cadet at the GRC. Recently, Army wrote a letter to his parents, stating that Mohan went missing from the regimental centre on November 22 at 4am without any intimation, adding they must be informed immediately if family gets any information regarding him. The GRC further clarified that failure to report at the centre by December 21 will lead to Mohan's expulsion. "My son is an excellent wrestler and has never can he give up under any circumstance. Is it even possible for someone to move out of the Army centre, evading all security persons," said Rajendra Parmar. He said that there had never been any issues during his stay on the campus. "I got a call from Army coach Ram Avatar who informed us that our son was missing from the campus. My family and I are in a shock," he said.
