Bhopal: Youth held for recording obscene video of 16-year-old

A BSC student was booked for allegedly making an obscene video of a 16-year-old girl while she was taking bath at her home in Kamla Nagar locality on Tuesday. Police registered a case under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act and arrested him.

BHOPAL: A BSC student was booked for allegedly making an obscene video of a 16-year-old girl while she was taking bath at her home in Kamla Nagar locality on Tuesday. Police registered a case under relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act and arrested him.
Sub-Inspector Vijay Singh Sisodhiya said that the survivor is a student of class 9 and resides with her family.
Her mother stated in her complaint that on Tuesday around 5 pm when her daughter had gone to take bath, accused Ashish Ahirwar, a resident of Tikamgarh, allegedly recording a video on his mobile phone while she was taking bath. On finding something suspicious she rushed inside the home and told her mother about the incident.
SI Sisodhiya said police arrested the accused and he was recording video from his friend’s house which is situated behind the survivor’s home. Police seized his mobile phone for further investigations. The accused is a native of Tikamgarh, but was residing in his relative’s house here in Bhopal as his father was undergoing a treatment.
Meanwhile in another incident, a 50-year-old woman was allegedly molested by a man in Eintkhedi locality on August 13. After the incident the accused apologized to survivor in Gram Panchayat meeting but on Tuesday the accused again threatened her husband and misbehaved with him. When the middle-aged woman had no option, she approached Eintkhedi police station on Tuesday and lodged a complaint. Police registered a case of molestation and started investigation.
Eintkhedi SHO Pankaj Geete said that the woman resides with her family in a village of Eintkhedi and she is a farmer. She stated in her complaint that on August 13 when she was returning home from field around 3.30 pm, she took a shelter due to sudden rain.
SHO Geete said the accused Karan Yadav, a resident of neighborhood village, allegedly came from behind and molested her. She somehow managed to run away from his clutches and narrated the ordeal to her husband. Later, they decided to complain against Karan in Gram panchayat. The accused apologised to survivor in panchayat, but on Tuesday he allegedly stopped survivor's husband oh his way and misbehaved with him.
