BHUBANESWAR: Experts attending peace symposium organised by Ahmadiyya Muslim community here on Sunday said justice is the need of the hour to maintain peace in the world.
“Injustice creates inequality in the society and leads to violence in the world. Both laymen and intellectuals should understand this. Peace is the only medicine to heal the disturbed world,” said Maulana Fazal Haque Khan discussing on ‘Justice in an Unjust World’.
Prabir Kumar Patnaik, dean of Siksha 'O' Anusandhan, said several institutions have started taking bold steps to maintain peace in the world.
“We should work together to make a better world,” he added.
Syed Khalid Ahmad, president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Bhubaneswar, said it is not the time to bring peace through swords or guns. Some so called jihadists are indulged in bloodbath to bring heaven on the earth, which is irrational. “We condemn any form of terrorism in the world in the name of jihad. We want nonviolence and peaceful living,” he added.
