A 17-year-old boy was brutally stabbed to death by five youths of his village in an automobile workshop at Kundli of Sonipat NCR area of Haryana on Monday morning.

CHANDIGARH: A 17-year-old boy was brutally stabbed to death by five youths of his village in an automobile workshop at Kundli of Sonipat NCR area of Haryana on Monday morning. The incident took place at 600 meters away from the police station of Kundli.
Police have started the investigations after registering the case at Kundli police station.
DSP headquarters Harender Kumar said that the body of Amit has been handed over to kin after autopsy.
Five youths of the village identified as Billu, Ankit, Hari Om and their two friends have been booked in the murder case registered on the complaint to the victim's father.
According to information, Amit and his friends had a brawl with Hari Om, Ankit and Billu of the village over some issue. Following the intervention of village elders, the rival groups had reached the compromise. But Hari Om and his team were nursing a grudge against Amit and his friends.
On Monday morning, Amit had gone to an automobile shop for the repairs. Meanwhile, five youths, who were armed with sharp-edged weapons, appeared there. They attacked Amit in broad daylight and managed to escape after leaving unconscious Amit in a pool of blood. He was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
“Once the accused are arrested, we shall be able to conclude on the reason behind the murder or the issue which triggered the fight on MAy 29,'' said DSP Harender Kumar.
