Chandigarh: Mirror of Haryanvi culture showcased
A programme was presented based on Haryanvi culture folk songs, folk dance, Haryana comedy skit and much more.
CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi, in collaboration with Haryana Kala Parishad, organized “Daaman Ki Phatkar”, the mirror of Haryanvi culture.
A programme was presented based on Haryanvi culture folk songs, folk dance, Haryana comedy skit and much more, directed by Ravi Shankar.
The event started with Saraswati Vandana following a Haryanvi dance and other performances included the song "Mere yaar Sudama Re", the most popular song by Isha Panchal and group, Bham lehri dance and last item of the programme was Haryanvi skit "Meri Beti Mahan".

On June 12 CSNA will present a soulful musical evening by "Soul's Diet" (A Chandigarh based community music group) at Tagore Theatre in Sector-18, Chandigarh.
