Haryana: Two women among four new Covid-19 positive cases in Kurukshetra

KURUKSHETRA: Kurukshetra reported four new cases of Covid-19 including two women and two men and one male patient got discharged from hospital after he reported negative on Friday, said civil surgeon Dr Sukhbir Singh.
Dr Sukhbir said, "Four patients who reported positive on Friday include a woman (32) of Umri village, whose husband a cook had tested positive on Thursday; a man (58) of Thaska Miraji village, who has a history of visiting a private hospital in Ambala and 17 samples have been collected from his chain; a woman (37) reported positive from Barna village who has come in Kurukshetra district from Mumbai to attend an event and 14 samples are collected from her chain; and fourth is a man (42) of Mohan Nagar, Sadhu Mandi, city who came to the district from Delhi.”
"All four patients have been isolated at MMU Hospital, Mullana in Ambala for treatment", said Dr Sukbir.

About the discharged patient, Dr Sukhbir said, "A man (46) of Gobindgarh village in Ladwa area reported negative on Friday and he has been discharged from MMU Hospital, Mullana, Ambala."
With this, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in Kurukshetra district reached 50, out of which, 24 patients got discharged from hospital, and now 26 (2 at PGIMER, Chandigarh, 1 at Medanta, Gurugram and 16 at MMU Hospital, Mullana) are active cases told Dr Sukhbir.
So far, a total of 6,665 samples have been collected in Kurukshetra district, out of which; 6,417 reported negative; 198 results are awaited, and 50 tested positive in Kurukshetra and two at Chandigarh and one at Gurugram", further added Dr Sukhbir.
