Kartarpur corridor is a bridge to Khalistan, says SFJ
Amritsar: New York-based group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), an advocacy group working on the controversial “Referendum 2020” campaign, has described the Kartarpur Corridor as “a bridge to Khalistan.”
The group, which had organized the London Declaration 2020 in August to kick-start a campaign for non-binding “independence” referendum, also announced it will host a convention at Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan next year.

SFJ legal adviser Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said the group would hold a convention in Pakistan during the global gathering of Sikh separatists there on the occasion of 550 birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev in November next year.
“We will sponsor and host 10,000 Sikhs from Punjab who will be educated and informed about Sikhs’ right to self-determination under the UN Charter and Conventions, who will then serve as ‘Referendum2020’ ambassadors in Punjab and will be equipped to propagate independence campaign peacefully and democratically,” said Pannun.
He said they would open voter registration from Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan in November next year when Sikhs from more than 30 countries would visit for the Guru Nanak’s anniversary celebrations. “During the convention, the SFJ will hold ‘study circles’ to educate and train the participants for the referendum process,” he added.
