Panchkula: Pinjore man killed as truck hits car

Panchkula: A 37-year old man, a resident of Pinjore, was killed after a speeding truck hit his car on the Pinjore-Baddi bypass on Sunday at11.30pm. The truck driver fled from the spot.
Devnidra Pal Aggarwal, a resident of Rattpur colony, Pinjore, complained to the police that his nephew Sanjeev Kumar, 37, came to meet him and he went for some work in Baddi around 11.30 pm in his car carrying registeration number HR-49-C-2002.

When he reached on the Pinjore-Baddi bypass, a truck being driven recklessly hit the car from the front. Sanjeev was seriously injured in the accident. The truck also fell into a gorge, but the driver, identified as Arvind Kumar, a resident of Raibareli, UP, managed to flee from the spot.
The victim was rushed to the Kalka CHC where he was declared brought dead by the doctors. The police have registered a case.
