People entering Mohali from Chandigarh will not be screened. Entry to Chandigarh is allowed from points near the furniture market, YPS crossing, PCA crossing, jail road crossing, civil hospital crossing and Phase XI crossing. People can enter Mohali till 6pm without a pass.

MOHALI: People entering Mohali from Chandigarh will not be screened. Entry to Chandigarh is allowed from points near the furniture market, YPS crossing, PCA crossing, jail road crossing, civil hospital crossing and Phase XI crossing. People can enter Mohali till 6pm without a pass.
However, the administration will screen people entering Mohali, which returned to some normalcy with shops opening from 9am to 1pm and traffic back on the roads on Tuesday, from other parts.
The entry into the district is allowed only from notified points, said district magistrate, Girish Dayalan. For people entering the district from Himachal Pradesh, an interstate highway check point has been set up at Siswan-Baddi road in Siswan.
For those entering from Haryana, inter-state border check points on highways have been set up near Sekhon banquet hall, Zirakpur, Panchkula highway, and at Ambala-Naraingarh highway and Ambala-Chandigarh highway Jharmari, Lalru.
