CHANDIGARH: In a twist to the Rewari gang rape case, the investigation agency has arrested one more army man, Navin alias Nikku for his alleged involvement in the incident. Though the exact charge for which the accused was arrested has not been disclosed but according to cops, he was also present at the tube well room, where the alleged incident of rape had taken place.

Sources confirmed that the accused Navin has been arrested by the investigation agencies from army training centre Gopalpur (Odisha). He had left the spot where the alleged rape had taken place and did not inform anyone about the incident. He had joined the army six months back and was undergoing basic military training at Army Air Defence (AAD) training centre at Gopalpur in Orrissa.
Navin is native of Nayagaon village. He was produced before the duty magistrate, who sent him on 10-days police remand. He has been accused of not informing the authorities about the incident and maintaining silence over such heinous crime. He was on leave from the training when the incident of rape happened. He would now be produced before the duty magistrate on October 5.
