Storm is brewing, says Met forecast

CHANDIGARH: As per the Chandigarh Met department forecast, residents must prepare themselves for yet another storm on Friday and Saturday, besides thunder accompanied by winds exceeding spped of 80kmph.
The maximum temperature is expected to be around 40°C on Friday.
At the airport observatory, the maximum temperature crossed the 40-degree mark on Wednesday after it was recorded at 40.2°C, 3 degrees above normal.On Thursday it further shot up to 40.8°C.
For Friday, the Met department have given a forecast of partly cloudy sky with a thundery development. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 41°C while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 26°C.
