CHANDIGARH: Not more than 150 students in one centre, one assistant superintendent for every 15 students, at least 4-6 feet distance between every examinee, thermal screening, sanitization of exam centres and mask must for all students, teachers and parents.
These are some of the guidelines that will have to be followed by all colleges and teaching departments under Panjab University during semester exams to be held in July.
The controller of examination Punjab University on Thursday issued the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
As per the SOP, no candidates or examination staff from red zone or containment zone be allowed to enter in the exam centre. Also, any staff member or student having any symptom of Covid-19 or undergoing quarantine or isolation period would not be allowed to enter the examination centre under any circumstances.
Thermal screening of every entrant in the examination hall or venue will be mandatory and examination halls, rooms, control room and furniture will be sanitized before the commencement of examination in each session.
Hand sanitizers will be made available at entry points as well as in the room by the college authorities. Staff members put up on examination duty will have to download Arogva Setu app.
