Three of a family shot dead in Haryana village

CHANDIGARH: Three members of a family were shot dead during the wee hours of Saturday in Bhaiswal Kalan village here of Gohana, in Sonipat district of Haryana.
Hoshiyar Singh and his wife Urmila were shot dead in their house, while Hoshiyar Singh' brother Balbir Singh too was shot at the same time in his house.
The incident occurred at 3.30am. Cops, including SP and DSP have been rushed to the spot.
Since the incident is said to be an outcome of some old enmity of Hoshiyar Singh's family, additional security personnel have been deployed in the village.
Forensic and ballistic experts were examining the spot to ascertain the circumstances in which the crime took place.
The bodies would be taken to civil hospital for autopsy, police said.
