HISAR: Haryana finance minister Captain Abhimanyu distributed battery-powered motorized tricycles to 83 disabled persons and new smart ration cards to 700 families living below poverty line (BPL) at an event organized in Bas village of Narnaund assembly constituency in Hisar on Wednesday.
On the occasion, Abhimanyu said people brought BJP to power and in return the ruling party was trying to improve the system by helping the needy.

On the other hand, the Viklang Adhikar Manch on Wednesday staged a protest at the Hisar mini secretariat and alleged that the state finance minister was indulging into politics by assembling crowd and distributing machinery and equipment just once in four years, which was discriminatory against the disabled sections.
The forum said such equipment was to be provided every month through the Red Cross. The forum also sent a memorandum to raise their demands before the chief minister through the Hisar deputy commissioner.
