Changes made to suburban train schedule
Changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on Saturday and Sunday due to a line block to facilitate engineering and maintenance work between Chennai Beach and Washermenpet railway stations.

CHENNAI: Changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on Saturday and Sunday due to a line block to facilitate engineering and maintenance work between Chennai Beach and Washermenpet railway stations.
These trains will be cancelled on Saturday: The MMC-Tiruvallurlocal EMU (43217), scheduled to leave MMC at 9.30am, the Tiruvallur-MMC local (43234), scheduled to leave Tiruvallur at 2.40pm and the Tiruvallur-Velachery local (43762), scheduled to leave Tiruvallur at 11.05am.
The railways will operate a passenger special from Avadi to Pattabiram Military Siding, which will leave Avadi at 2:20pm.
