Pondicherry University to hold entrance exams for admissions on June 7, 8 and 9

PUDUCHERRY: Pondicherry University will hold entrance examination for admission to various PhD, postgraduate, postgraduate integrated and postgraduate diploma courses barring MBA and MBA (international business) for the academic year 2019-20 on June 7, 8 and 9 at 64 centres in 33 cities throughout India.
The applicants can visit the university website www.pondiuni.edu.in to download their hall tickets for appearing in the entrance examination.The varsity received 41,160 applications online for admissions into various programmes. A release from the university said 4,529 students applied for PhD programmes, 27,961 students applied for postgraduate programmes, 8,561 applied for postgraduate integrated programmes and 109 for postgraduate diploma programmes.
The university offers PhD programmes in 47 disciplines, postgraduate programme in 58 disciplines, postgraduate integrated programmes in three disciplines and postgraduate diploma programmes in four disciplines.
The university commenced online registration for admission on March 22. May 10 was the last date to apply for admissions, said the release.
