Rs 1 crore bank fraud: Two brothers held in Tamil Nadu

TIRUPUR: Two brothers were arrested on Tuesday in Tirupur for allegedly duping a nationalised bank of Rs 1.03 crore, which constituted the loan they were sanctioned based on forged land documents that they pledged.
The accused have been identified as A Ravichandran (55) and A Senthil (58) of Jeevanantha Colony in Erode.
The siblings were running a polybag manufacturing unit in Karamadai in Coimbatore district.
Two years ago, they got the loan of Rs 1.03 crore from State Bank of India of Kongu Nagar branch, said Tirupur Central Crime Branch inspector Sakthivel.
