TOI visited the areas on Wednesday and spoke to the families that had participated in the drive. Sunil Joshi, a resident of Thano area, who took part in the activity, said,“We planted around 800 trees in one spot and over a thousand more at another. It feels good to get appreciation for this activity in the form of a record having been set.”
