MUSSOORIE: A car carrying four tourists from Delhi and
Haryana fell into an around 150-mtere-deep gorge near Bhatta village on Friday. Local residents informed police, who rescued the victims and took them to
Mussoorie for primary treatment. After the condition of two of the tourists deteriorated, they were referred to a
Dehradun hospital.
The victims were identified as Jai Kumar, 43, Tejpal, 60, Prabhat Singhla, 29, and Devesh Kumar, 42.
The driver, who also incurred a head injury, said that he had swerved the vehicle trying to avoid an accident. Sub-inspector Suraj Kandari said police was looking into the case.
