DEHRADUN: The
Uttarakhand high court while hearing a matter in connection with the
sting operation against former CM
Harish Rawat on August 21, fixed September 20 as the next date of hearing.
In 2016, a sting operation had surfaced in which Rawat can be seen allegedly talking to a journalist for bringing nine rebel MLAs back to the Congress fold.
Meanwhile, Surendra Kumar, the media spokesperson for Harish Rawat told TOI, “This is the darkest phase of democracy, where every voice raised against the ruling party, is being suppressed.
CBI, IT and ED are being used for political purposes.”
