HARIDWAR: A 42-year-old man allegedly committed suicide after taking
poison in a hotel room in
Haridwar. A suicide note was recovered from the room which said that he was taking the step as he was in debt.
According to police, Dilip Kumar, a resident of Brahmpuri in
Dehradun was staying in a hotel under the jurisdiction of city police station. “Dilip ran a shop of electric items in Dehradun and he was under debt.
His body has been handed over to his family after conducting postmortem,” a police officer said.
Meanwhile, a 28-year-old man, Dinesh Kumar, a resident of Mandawali in
Bijnor, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his rented accommodation in Jwalapur area.
