The district administration has specified that only small shopping complexes, the ones which do not have centralised air conditioner facility, have been allowed to operate.
Pankaj Masson, president of the Doon Udyog Vyapar Mandal, told TOI, “There is a risk of spread of the virus through centralised AC. Thus, the small businesses which operate in facilities that do not have centralised AC have been given relaxations.” Notably, departmental stores, petrol pump stations, ration stores, confectioneries, transport office, photocopy shops, chemist shops, dairies, meat shops and a few others have been allowed to remain open daily.
