Doon-Howrah express suspended for maintenance work

DEHRADUN: Due to ongoing repair work on railway tracks, Doon-Howrah express was suspended on Thursday.
Station superintend SD Dobhal told TOI, “Due to the ongoing construction work near Faizabad station, 13009 Howrah-Dehradun express will remain suspended from June 13 to June 17, similarly 13010 Dehradun-Howrah express will be suspended from June 15 to June 19.”
The suspension of service is set to impact the Char Dham yatra pilgrims.“The cancellation will impact the passengers but they can switch to 12327-28 Upasna Express, which runs three-days-a-week,” Dobhal added.
Other trains which run from Dehradun will continue operations as per schedule, the official mentioned.
