With candlelight marches, Dehradun remembers it fallen bravehearts,
Dehradun: Almost entire city descended on the streets on Saturday to mourn the death of 40 CRPF personnel martyred in the worst-ever terror attack in Kashmir.
Candlelight marches were organized all around the city where people paid their respects to the slain personnel.
By evening, hundreds of people from all walks of life were out on the streets, holding placards and shouting slogans in support of the slain CRPF jawans.

All the major city squares and roads like Gandhi Park, Chakrata Road, Rajpur Road as well as Karanpur and Dallanwala were cluttered with lit candles.
“It is our moral responsibility to pay tributes to them. We want to let our forces know that we stand by them,” said Piyush Sharma, a resident of Karanpur.
Another resident, Ramesh Singh, a resident of Dalanwala, said “Many people like us are filled with grief. We are highly indebted to the CRPF jawans who laid their lives for us.”
