Dehradun: Woman attacked by husband dies

DEHRADUN: Days after 45-year-old Ram Singh alias Maan Singh was booked on charges of killing his two children and seriously injuring his wife and elder daughter before trying to hang self in Doiwala area, his wife succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences at Jolly Grant early on Sunday.
The deceased, Reena was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after her husband attacked her and her three children in a fit of rage.While two of her kids died on the spot, another daughter succumbed last week.
The accused has confessed to the police that he was depressed due to his poor financial condition and had therefore decided to kill his entire family.
