DEHRADUN: CM Trivendra Singh Rawat on Monday inaugurated a Y-shaped two-lane flyover that connects with the ISBT flyover.
The project worth Rs 33.26 crore is 387 m in length and the approach road for the flyover is 210 m, taking its entire length to 597 m. The new flyover which connects midway of the ISBT flyover is aimed at providing relief to people who want to go towards Clement Town area, which is also the road for Roorkee and Delhi.

CM Rawat said that the number of tourists coming to Uttarakhand in the past few years is on the rise and this has increased employment opportunities in the state. He added, “We have to ensure that their journey is a smooth one. A service lane would also be developed and the government would also soon formulate a plan on how to utilise the space beneath the flyover.”
Terming the opening of the flyover as a welcome step, Ajay Rawat, a resident of Nehru Colony, said, “Now commuters can use the flyover to go towards Clement Town. It is a big relief for locals as well as visitors.”
