NEW DELHI: Suspended
AAP councillors and aldermen, who were not allowed to enter a special House called on Monday by North Delhi Municipal Corporation mayor to discuss initiatives taken to control vector-borne diseases, preferred to
protest outside the meeting hall.
They blamed the mayor for being biased and suspending the entire Opposition from the last House meeting to avoid genuine discussion.
"The civic agency claims to be suffering from a financial crisis, but it's wasting money on the purchase of insecticides," said AAP councillor and leader of Opposition in the House, Sujeet Pawar.
North corporation standing committee chairman Jai Prakash said,"Delhi government is only spending on advertisements and barely doing any ground work."
