NEW DELHI: A day after Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari said that the doorstep delivery scheme of Aam Aadmi Party government was fraud and had benefited only AAP workers, AAP on Saturday said that the remarks reflected the “anti-people politics of BJP.”
“BJP has opposed every public welfare scheme of Delhi government, including CCTV cameras, free Wi-Fi, mohalla clinics, free bus ride for women, free electricity up to 200 units and free water,” said AAP spokesperson Raghav Chadha.

He pointed out that many states like Odisha, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh have also implemented the doorstep delivery of services scheme taking a cue from the Delhi government. “BJP-run East Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation are all set to implement the same scheme,” he claimed.
“If it is fraudulent then why did more than 16 lakh people contact the Delhi government to take the benefit of this scheme, and how has the Delhi govt achieved 95% success in providing the doorstep delivery of services to the citizens,” asked Chadha.
