NEW DELHI: A card making factory stuffed with
Valentine's Day cards was gutted after a major fire broke out on the top floor of the factory at
Naraina in
West Delhi on Thursday morning.
Officials say that 23 fire tenders have been pressed into service to contain the flames.
Fire chief Atul Garg said that the fire broke out around 7.10am when workers of some adjacent factories noticed the blaze at the top floor and informed the
fire department.
Though no casualties were reported, the area was evacuated by the fire department since the building housed a large amount of combustible materials.
