Delhi: Mental health clinic opened at municipal headquarters

NEW DELHI: North Delhi Municipal Corporation started a stress management clinic and counselling centre at its headquarters to mark World Mental Health Day. Mayor Avtar Singh inaugurated the facility in the building, which also houses the south corporation and the income tax department. Commissioner Varsha Joshi said the facility would be available to employees of both the civic bodies and the department. Standing committee chairman Jai Prakash said it was the duty of the corporation to provide basic amenities to Delhiites and for this a balanced mind was very important.
