Former woman journalist attacked in east Delhi

A former journalist was attacked by unidentified gunmen and shot in the arm in east Delhi's Mayur Vihar area during the early hours of Sunday. The victim, Mitalli Chandola was in her car and has told cops that two rounds were fired at her from the front, while one bullet went through her right arm. She is out of danger.

NEW DELHI: A former journalist was attacked by unidentified gunmen and shot in the arm in east Delhi's Mayur Vihar area during the early hours of Sunday.
The victim, Mitalli Chandola was in her car and has told cops that two rounds were fired at her from the front, while one bullet went through her right arm.
She was admitted in a private hospital and is said to be out of danger.
A case has been registered based on her statement.
