NEW DELHI: Heavy rains lashed national capital on Friday after it saw a humid Friday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The India Meteorological Department had forecast a generally cloudy sky with possibility of light rain in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 85 percent.
Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 32 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 25.2 degrees Celsius.
