Counter complaints in Canacona assault case

POINGUINIM: Mangal Pagi, a resident of Saleri Khola, Canacona, has registered a complaint against Krishna Pagi for assaulting her husband, Sudhakar, with a wooden stick and causing him injuries.
Police have also charged two other family members, Anup, for being responsible for the assault and Rupali, for abusing the complainant and her family using filthy language.
Meanwhile, Rupali has lodged a counter complaint accusing Sudhakar and Mangal of abuse using filthy language and further, assaulting her and her husband with stones and a stick and injuring them.
Offence have been registered under Sections 324,504, 427 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code. Head constable S B Velip and ASI Suhas Velip are investigating the cases.
