Panaji: Around 600 students of various
Bal Bhavan kendras in the state will gather at its Panaji campus to participate in the state-level
children’s creativity
festival on Children’s Day, November 14.
Chief minister Pramod Sawant will inaugurate the festival and also present the Bal Bhushan awards. Students will participate in activities such as art, craft, music, clay modelling, among others, in the morning session.
At the event, seven meritorious students from the state will be felicitated with the Gomant Bal Bhushan Award 2019 for their achievement in science and creative fields. The students are Tanmay Tukaram Kharbe and Tejas Santosh Vernekar for creative performance, Rupesh Naresh Verekar and Lekhraj Ladu Surlakar for creative art, Advait Mudras and Divya Samant for creative writing, and Sailesh Uday Prabhu for innovative science.
