Four foreign nationals were arrested by Calangute police on Saturday after they were found to be staying in the country without valid travel documents.

PANAJI: Four foreign nationals were arrested by Calangute police on Saturday after they were found to be staying in the country without valid travel documents.
Calangute PI Nolasco Raposo said that four women, two from Tanzania and two from Uganda, were detained on suspicion of soliciting customers for the purpose of prostitution at Calangute.
During questioning, they were found to be staying in the country without valid travel documents, and were subsequently arrested.

Further investigations are under way.
