Goa: One held for raping minor
Subhash Jaiswal, 21, of Uttar Pradesh was arrested by the Ponda police on Friday evening for raping a Class IX schoolgirl in September. Police said he was arrested based on a complaint lodged by the girl’s mother.

Ponda PI Mohan Gaude said the accused, who works as a steel fabricator for a building contractor, resided at a rented room in Shiroda.Gaude further said that he took the girl to a room on September 17 and raped her.
