PANAJI: Parking on Atmaram Borkar road and 18th June road in the state capital may be charged from August, CCP
mayor Uday Madkaikar said.
Pay parking will not be applicable for two-wheelers, Madkaikar said, ading, “Hope this will decongest the city and encourage people to bring two wheelers instead of four wheelers to the city.”
Madkaikar said that the pay parking is being implemented on a trial basis on these two roads, which it will be extended to the rest of the city.
“The casino vehicles will soon be moved to the multi storey parking facility at Patto and security labels for all the casino vehicles will be used, the mayor said.
“There are talks to convert the ground floor of the multi storey parking facility for two wheelers,” he added.
