22-year-old Hisar youth shot in head four times, five booked

Five persons were booked for killing a youth in Narnaund town of Hisar on Sunday night following a clash among two groups a fortnight ago. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Rahul, a resident of Narnaund.

HISAR: Five persons were booked for killing a youth in Narnaund town of Hisar on Sunday night following a clash among two groups a fortnight ago. The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Rahul, a resident of Narnaund.
According to the cops, the deceased was shot in the head four times and another 3-4times in the back. Narnaund police station in-charge Dalbir Singh said a case of murder was registered in the complaint of Rahul’s father Krishna Kumar under sections 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon), 149 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object) and 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act against Jaibhagwan alias Nanu, a native of Majra village and residing in Narnaund, and four of his friends.
In the complaint given to the police, Krishna said on Sunday night Rakesh, a resident of ward number 9 of Narnaund, told him that he and Rahul were returning home on a motorcycle from a hotel when they were attacked by the accused..

“Rakesh told me that three youth on a bike and two on another followed them from the hotel. He said Jaibhagwan was among the five youth and they fired at Rahul from behind and later as they fell from the bike, the assailants fired at my son’s head,” Krishna stated in his police complaint.
He added that on getting the information, he reached the spot and immediately took Rahul to a hospital in Hisar where the doctors declared him dead. Police said after the incident, two assailants had returned to the hotel with pistols and took away the CCTV camera and DVR installed there.
