Haryana: Parents proud after son joins Indian Army

AMBALA: Ishan Jha of Ambala Cantonment is also among the 382 Indian cadets who have been commissioned into the Armoured Regiment of Indian Army as Lieutenant after the passing out parade at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, on Saturday. Ishan's parents on Monday expressed the feeling of immense gratitude and pride.
Lieutenant General Cherish Mathson, General Officer Commanding (GOC), South Western Command was the reviewing officer of the parade at IMA.

Ishan is extremely happy for passing the training at the academy and to double his happiness his grandfather Pandit Sri Kant Jha, father Rajesh Jha and mother Dimple Jha were also present with him on the passing-out day on Saturday.
In his conversation with media, Ishan said, “I completed schooling from Lord Mahavir Jain Public School in Ambala Cantonment and in my success there is an equal contribution of my school principal, teachers, and parents. Since my childhood, I wanted to join armed forces and to serve the nation and my dream has come true.”
Ishan’s grandfather is an astrologer, his father is a manager is a hotel, and mother is a teacher in a private school. His grandfather Sri Kant Jha said, “in our family, Ishan is the first member to join the armed forces and he has made us all proud.”
Rajesh Jhas aid, “my son has been commissioned into the Armoured Regiment and I feel extremely proud of him.”
