Deputy commissioner highlights Guwahati's traffic problem

GUWAHATI: New deputy commissioner of Kamrup (Metro) district Biswajit Pegu has identified growing traffic congestion and lack of parking places as the most challenging problems in the city,
Talking to the media on Thurdsay, Pegu said, "There is urgent need of a coordinated plan to curb traffic and parking problems in the city. One of my priorities will be to streamline the mechanism." He added that there is lack od coordination among various government department.
