Trafficked girl rescued from Rajasthan

GUWAHATI: Jalukbari Police have rescued a 15-year-old girl, who hails from Adabari area, from Rajasthan's Churu district. With the help of counterparts in Rajasthan, Assam Police have also arrested one suspected trafficker. The girl had reportedly gone missing on June 2.
"She was rescued from Churu district on June 26 and was kept in custody of Childline.
Later a team of Jalukbari police went there for her recovery and also arrested one Dilip Singh in connection to the case.Singh allegedly procured the girl from another person," said Ponjit Duara, asstt. commissioner of Jalukbari Police.
