3 cellphone thieves held

HYDERABAD: Three cellphone thieves were arrested in Tolichowki on Monday and a cellphone and a motorbike were recovered.
Police verified CCTV camera footages and identified the accused as Imran Khan, 25, of Tolichowki, Md Mateenuddin, 23, of Golconda and Mohammed Khaja, 19, of Kondapur. The trio riding a bike snatched an Oppo A83 cellphone of cab driver Md Mushtaque on June 6.He parked his car at MF Garden in Tolichowki at 3.30 am, while talking over the phone. The trio snatched the phone from him and fled from the spot.
In another case, Syed Maqbool Pasha, 30, a cab driver from Shahin Nagar, Mylardevpally, was held for stealing a cellphone of another cabbie Raju of Boduppal. tnn
