HYDERABAD: While the likes of TRS working president KT Rama Rao, principal secretary for Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar may be active on Twitter, but tweets from aggrieved citizens and animal activists over municipalities poisoning stray dogs, seem to fall on deaf ears.
“Telangana is now very famous for mass dog culling. The entire state of Telangana full swing culling. Are you proud of this?” tweeted NS Pravalika (@Pravall63315158) tagging the twitter handles of KT Rama Rao, Arvind Kumar and a few other officials who did not bother responding.

Another Twitter user Avinash Bhingarde (@emAVINASH) tagged KTR and tweeted: “The strays in Hyderabad are suffering and the GHMC is doing nothing. The ABC centres across Hyderabad are in worst condition. One could have never imagined this is happening under the order of government.(sic)”
There have been at least 20 tweets sent to KTR and Arvind Kumar since the first batch of dogs were culled in Siddipet and not even a single user’s tweet has been acknowledged.
