Amit Shah to review Telangana poll results: BJP

HYDERABAD: After a rout in Telangana polls, BJP leadership has decided to analyse reasons for the debacle and get ready for Lok Sabha and local body elections. BJP had won five constituencies in 2014 polls, but its tally fell to one (Goshamahal) in 2018.
BJP national president Amit Shah would visit Hyderabad on December 24 to review party affairs. PM Narendra Modi would also visit Hyderabad to address party workers and leaders in January.

Disclosing details on Saturday, BJP Telangana unit president K Laxman said the party would thoroughly analyse the election results and get ready for the Lok Sabha elections with an to make Modi as PM once again in 2019. “While party morcha meetings at the national level have begun from today, the national council meeting will be held in Delhi on January 11 and 12. Amit Shah and Modi will personally review the party position in all the LS seats,” he added.
