HYDERABAD: A 34-year-old man, involved in six chainsnatching cases, was arrested by Task Force on Saturday. The accused would pledge the stolen property at Muthoot and Manappuram Finance Ltd and get gold loans.
Kona Narsing Rao, a resident of Shivasai Nagar, Uppuguda, is a trained boxer, who participated in several statelevel competitions. He worked as a part-time boxing coach and later, took a huge loan to lease Ola and Uber cabs.
He committed the snatchings to pay the loan amount.
According to police, Rao would target women, especially elderly women.
