HYDERABAD: Demolition of existing secretariat buildings by the TRS government will be viewed as contempt of court, according to
Congress MLC T
Jeevan Reddy.
Stating that he had filed a petition in the High Court in 2016 and the TRS government filed a counter affidavit stating that it would not demolish the existing secretariat buildings, he charged KCR of trying to divert the attention of the people of
Telangana from the problems being faced by them by taking up construction of new secretariat and
assembly buildings.
“Construction of assembly building at Irrum Manzil will lead to huge traffic gridlock from Nampally to
Kukatpally,” Jeevan Reddy said, adding “Lakhs of youth are waiting for one lakh government vacancies to be filled up, but KCR is focusing on constructing new buildings with public money.”
