Man arrested for abducting minor

Hyderabad: RGI Airport police arrested a migrant worker for abducting a three-year-old girl from Gagan Pahad area on Thursday evening. Police solved the crime within six hours of the incident . The girl was handed over to her family members.
“The girl’s parents work in a private company at Gagan Pahad. The three-year-old girl has two sisters and the accused is a migrant worker from Bihar,” RGI Airport police said.
The accused noticed the girl when she was playing near her house the police said.“He picked up the girl in the guise of playing with her and walked away,” RGI Airport inspector Y Rama Krishna said.
Soon, family members of the girl realised that she was missing and lodged a complaint with police. Police located him at Gagan Pahad during the early hours of Friday and rescued the girl. The accused was arrested and after medical examination at Niloufer hospital, the girl was handed over to her family members. Police are questioning two other men to verify if they had assisted the main accused.
