No change of guard in Telangana Congress: Khuntia

HYDERABAD: Seeking to put to rest unrest among local Congress leaders, AICC general secretary in charge of Telangana RC Khuntia on Monday said N Uttam Kumar Reddy would continue to lead the party in Telangana until the high command formally announces a change of guard.
Khuntia said there has been no discussion so far on a change of guard in Telangana Congress. The TPCC again passed a resolution urging Party president Rahul Gandhi to continue to lead the party.He announced that the Telangana Congress has shifted its focus on the Municipal polls to be held soon.
He also demanded that TRS government should ensure that BCs get 34 per cent reservation in the polls.
