HYDERABAD: The
Telangana high court got three new judges. With this, the number of
judges has gone up to 14, including Chief Justice, from the present 11.
President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday appointed three practising advocates — Tadakamalla Vinod Kumar, Annireddy
Abhishek Reddy and Kunuru Lakshman — as judges of the high court. They will be administered the oath of office by Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan next week.
These names were part of the seven names recommended by the common high court just before it was bifurcated into two high courts for
Telangana and
Andhra Pradesh. Four names in the list belong to AP. After getting clearance from the Centre, they will be appointed as judges of AP high court, sources said.
